Mass casualties claimed as hackers strike Planet of Warcraft, Blizzard troubles hotfix and conducts 'thorough investigation'

Hackers massacred 1000's of harmless   Entire world of Warcraft gamers when they unleashed "a get rid of hack" before. Towns all about Azeroth were littered with piles of skeletons &mdash equally participant and NPC characters &mdash following degree one people have been able to stroll into major cities and decimate the total population like a plague.

Blizzard seems to have fastened the issue that permitted the hack, but the perpetrators have attempted to "justify" their steps.

This exploit has by now been hotfixed, so it should not be repeatable. It's safe and sound to proceed taking part in and adventuring in major towns and elsewhere in Azeroth.

As with any exploit, we are taking this disruptive motion very severely and conducting a complete investigation.
