Winger Player Attributes (ML/ MR or AMR/AML)
Passing
Crossing
Pace
Acceleration
Technique
Flair
Dribbling
The winger players are the important shooter guns of the teams. Their pace, acceleration and crossing is very crucial for deadly passes that goes to goal. For example Messi... hmm maybe he is an extreme guy.... He can play everywhere beyond the midfield. Arjen Robben is also another good example...
Forwards are our guns to score and win the matches. So their shoots should be affective. In my opinion a good forward should be able to smell the goal in every way. So the killing forward attributes:
First Touch
Technique
Creativity
Long Shots
Strength
If you have a tactic understanding that focuses on play maker or target man. Then you should have some reasons to go on this tactic. I do not prefer using target man but if i would use Target Man -focused tactic i would pay attention these attributes:
Strength
Stamina
Jumping
Heading
First Touch
Long Shots,
Anticipation
Bravery
I think Nicola Zigic is a good example for a successfull target man.
On the other hand if you are using a Playmaker focused tactics then you should take a look at these attributes:
First Touch
Passing
Tackling
Technique
Composure
Creativity
Decisions
Off the Ball
The best example is Cristiano Ronaldo...

"C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2009\fm.exe" --reset_preferences
3. Press OK and then try to run the game as normal, using the shortcut.
4. You'll want to remove the command after you run the game, as otherwise it will continue to reset your preferences every time you launch.
The Second one is if you don't have any shortcut on your desktop PC or Mac, you may do this way:
* If you purchased and installed the game through Steam you should be able to find the fm.exe in the following directory: C:/Program Files/Steam/SteamApps/Common/Football Manager 2009/
* If you purchased and installed the game from a boxed DVD copy you should be able to find the fm.exe in the following directory: C:/Program Files/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2009/
Or you may do the other solutions:

* Name - FM 2009 Genie Scout - 9.3.0 Version!
* Version - FM09 9.3.0 Ready
* Database - 9.00 to 9.3.0
* Tagline - The Return Of The Most Famous FM Scout For 9.3.0 Patch
* Author - genie.fm - FM Scout
List of changes: (from build 102 to build 103)
- added 9.3 version support
- fixed a bug with general/positional rating view in the history
- calculation of the coaching training rating is adapted to 9.3 patch now
- changed staff rating calculation algorithm
- slightly tuned player rating calculation algorithm
- fixed loading data errors
Interface:
- Serious revamp has been done on the interface.
- Thanks to a new version of Integrated development environment - IDE - being used, Ribbon components are now available.
- Thus functionality of the main menu has improved.
- You can now view a list of recent games and the options’ description.
- Program parameters (windows’ and buttons’ size and location) can also now be saved as ‘Layout’.
- The main search panels and control elements are located on the Ribbon’s main panel.
- Also Ribbon can be minimized
- Quick access panel can now be set up. Main control elements can be moved to the window title.
- It is also possible to hide the unused search panels.
Search Engine:
- Search engine is now improved.
- Now you don’t have to use filter to search on basic criteria.
- Unicode text is now totally supported. Now you can search using nonstandard symbols
- It’s enough to enter several symbols from different words. The word order does not matter anymore.
Rating System:
- Rating system has changed drastically.
- First, some changes in profile attributes’ influence on positional rating are introduced.
- Second, the skill which allows to use both feet is now also taken into account.
For example, let’s compare two attacking midfielders. Let’s start with finding a player who can use both feet with the same effect (Said Boutahar), and a left-footed player (Jose Ortiz). Jose Ortiz is better than his opponent (speaking of the main parameters). But both of them have similar rating. It is because Said Boutahar can work with the ball using both feet, and due to that
these two different-styled playmakers are alike in terms of effectiveness. It is proved by practice.
- In players, stronger and weaker attributes are either strongly above or strongly below average are rated. Stronger points are shown green, weaker ones are shown in red. It gives you a piece of information to form an overall impression on the player.
- Players’ potential rating system has been created from scratch. By terms of practical investigation, all the attributes are divided into several groups, and each group has its own rules in calculating potential attributes. Some of the physical skills change only a bit comparing to technical and psychological ones. Change of the others does not depend on Current Ability value. Also, depending on the player’s position, some attributes might change or not.
- The last innovation might possibly help the newbies to get into Football Manager quicker and the experienced ones to find something new for them.
User Guides:
- Hints for all the parameters are introduced, from Sale Value to Jadedness and Adaptability. For example, Marking. How good player is at marking opponents. If a defender has poor Marking it doesn’t necessarily mean he’ll be a load of rubbish. However, you’ll definitely want to avoid playing a Man-Marking tactic. If your defenders can’t mark for toffee, perhaps consider a Sweeper system or have them defend deeper than you would otherwise like. A Hard Tackling play goes nicely with Marking to soften up the opposition…
- The official manual, “Hints and Tips for Football Manager by Marc Vaughan & Nick Habershon” and other sources have been used for the needed materials.
For example Consistency. How consistently players perform from match to match. On the basis that there is no player that will perform to his current ability 100% of the time, the ratio of what consistency means in terms of how often a player plays at his CA is as follows.
> 20 Consistency = 20/25 games played at CA
> 10 Consistency = 10/25 games played at CA
> 1 Consistency = 1/25 games played at CA
Please note that physical attributes are not taken into consideration when it comes to consistency. Only the technical and mental attributes are marked down depending on consistency.
Consistency is a particularly important attribute.

1. Scout (scout) a reliable
have a reliable scout very important to find the potentials from all over the world, for example, is a club of Arsenal, they have a great scout a lot of young players well and has the potential to become a competent player
2. Improving training facilities and youth academy and coach
In a football manager game to upgrade training facilities and youth academy at the absolute need to have good young players
3. Lend players
If your team already filled with older players who are still good and young players you abandoned, try and lend to other teams, this is very good for player development, need only be noted in the attempt to lend players to the club who want to play a full order to have experience play.
4. Try playing
this is absolutely in need, remember a young player will also need experience of playing in the senior team, if you are afraid meminkannya in the major leagues, play in cup matches, trials, etc., remember the more often the better.
5. Tutorials and exercises
Invite your young players to follow the tutorial from the senior players and train your young players within their capabilities such as when long shotnya reached number 17 then the long train shotnya.
Thus how to develop the potential of your young players, it all depends on you.

First Team Squad
Goalkeeper
Edwin Van Der Sar - Van Der Sar may be getting on now but still will do a great job in goal. If Ben Foster isn't your cup of tea you might want to look to find a replacement sooner rather than later.
Tomasz Kuszczak - Will do a decent job in goal as Van Der Sar's back-up but with United's reputation you could do much better.
Ben Foster - A young talent with lots to give in the future, and will become a valuable member of your first team squad if you keep him. Although expect bids for him in the first transfer window.
Defenders
Wes Brown - A very capable right-back and definately choose him over Gary Neville & Rafael for the time being. This isn't a position you need to strengthen.
Jonny Evans - Young & talented, Evans will turn into a very good defender in the future, and should be at his peak just as Ferdinand & Vidic are ready to move on. Don't sell him if you recieve bids.
Patrice Evra - One of the best left-backs on the game and will get down the wings well and get some good assists for your team. Might want to find some back-up though.
Rio Ferdinand - Top centre-back and will give performance after performance. Ask him to tutor Jonny Evans and this will help the young Irishman a lot.
Gary Neville - Past his peak now but provides decent back-up to Wes Brown. When he is ready for retirement Rafael will be ready to step up.
John O'Shea - Not the greatest back-up but has a plus that he can play anywhere on the pitch including striker. Will provide back-up to Evra until Fabio is ready but you may want to think about buying a left-back anyway.
Rafael - A brilliant young defender who will turn into class right-back in 4-5 years. Give him chances in Carling Cup games so he gets some first team experienced and make sure Gary Neville tutors him through.
Nemanja Vidic - He & Ferdinand provide brilliant stability for United and as long as these two are together your team won't leak many goals. If you have the corner tactic make sure Vidic is in the six yard box.
Midfielder
Anderson - A brilliant, brilliant attacking midfielder on the game already and he only gets better. He gets goals a plenty and don't sell him unless you get a titanic offer.
Michael Carrick - Provided midfield stability and gets plenty of assists with the strikers running onto his through balls. Also capable of shooting from long range.
Darren Fletcher - Like real life, always does a job when called upon but Manchester City with a bid thats too good to turn down. It's up to you whether you sell him or keep him.
Darron Gibson - Sell as soon as possible, rarely gives good performances in my teams and if you offer to clubs offers come in by the bucketful.
Ryan Giggs - He might be getting on but whether you play him in the centre positions or out on the wing he will still give good performances along with goals & assists. A worthy free-kick taker aswell.
Owen Hargreaves - Not much to say here, injured for the season but when he comes back is a brilliant midfielder. I placed him over Ronaldo as free-kick taker and he scored plenty of them. Ended up as my third top scorer in the second season. Recieve plenty of offers but never accept.
Nani - Struggles to breakthrough straight away but when he gets a run will get lots of goals & assists. Like Anderson, he will turn into a star.
Park Ji-Sung - Never rated him on the game, does a half decent job like Fletcher but I usually accept offers when they come in for him.
Cristiano Ronaldo - You don't need me to tell you he's indespencable to the side. Goals, assists, free-kicks, penalties will get you through the season and probably get you a few multi-million pound offers for him.
Paul Scholes - Like Giggs will do a great job in the midfield but i've found right from the start Anderson does a better job and maybe leave Scholes for the odd game now and again.
Striker
Dimitar Berbatov - A new player to the squad and will get goals but it's 50-50 who will get more out of him and Tevez. Played alongside Rooney will bring the best out of him.
Manucho - The Angolan striker doesn't get many chances and when he does doesn't score many goals. Not many clubs offer for him so he's usually left rotting in the reserves.
Wayne Rooney - Usually ends up as top scorer in the squad and plays well alongside either Tevez or Berbatov. Can play behind the strikers or up top but either way will give you performances.
Carlos Tevez - Struggles to get in the team but when he does will score just as many as Berbatov. It's your choice who to play alongside Rooney, personally overall I would recommend Tevez.
Danny Welbeck - Doesn't quite make the breakthrough and will probably be better off being loaned out and trying to look into selling him permanently. Will get a goal here and there but not United quality.
Recommended Line-Up
Use the 4-3-1-2 formation
Van Der Sar
Brown Ferdinand Vidic Evra
Carrick
Scholes Anderson
Ronaldo --------- Rooney
Berbatov
Player/Staff Recommendations
Staff Credit goes to davidbowie
Like alot of managers these days, once you join a club, you need to sort out the backroom staff. Whilst in real life United have one of the best coaching staff in the world, in-game there are areas sadly lacking.
You have alot, but most of them simply are not that good:
Clearing out the Backroom:
Recommended Transfers In
Marcelo - 6m-10m - Real Madrid
Carlos Kameni - 7m-12m - Espanyol
Recommended Transfers Out
Ben Foster - 4m
Darren Fletcher - 6m-10m
Lee Martin - 2m
Fraizer Campbell - 5m
Park Ji-Sung - 6m
Darron Gibson - 1m-2m
